520	3		_aEl acoso escolar es un fenómeno relevante en Guatemala y, a partir del incremento del uso de tecnología en el marco de la pandemia COVID-19, se evidenció una nueva modalidad de acoso a través de redes sociales conocida como ciberbullying o ciberacoso. Esta investigación explora la asociación entre el cyberbullying, clima escolar y variables sociodemográficas en estudiantes del ciclo básico en cinco departamentos de Guatemala. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, de alcance predictivo, con una muestra probabilística de estudiantes de nivel básico de cinco departamentos de Guatemala. Se utilizaron las escalas estandarizadas para evidenciar el ciberacoso como víctima y agresor, así como para el clima escolar. Los datos sociodemográficos fueron explorados a través de una encuesta. Se obtuvo un coeficiente de determinación (R2=0.494) que indica que el modelo explica el 49.4% de la variabilidad en el clima escolar, lo que sugiere una relación moderada. Variables como sexo y diversidad sexual se relacionan favorablemente con el clima escolar. En cambio, estar expuesto a comportamientos violentos de los compañeros, uso prolongado de internet y redes empeora la percepción del clima. El documento también muestra como conductas como compartir secretos sin permiso en redes sociales e ignorar a otros en redes para hacerlos sentir mal, pueden ser predictores significativos de un peor clima escolar, reflejando cómo las agresiones virtuales afectan la convivencia y percepción del entorno educativo.
520	3		_aBullying is a relevant phenomenon in Guatemala and, due to the increase in the use of technology in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new type of bullying became evident through social networks known as cyberbullying or cyberbullying. This pheno-menon should be studied through the school climate where relationships between men and women exist, as well as other socio-demographic variables, so the question was raised: What is the degree of association between cyberbullying, the school climate and other sociodemographic variables? in basic level students from five departments of Guatemala during the year 2024? This was a quantitative study, with a predictive scope, with a probabilistic sample of basic level students from five departments of Gua-temala. The standardized CYB-VIC and CYBAGR scales were used to demonstrate cyberbullying as a victim and as an aggressor. For the school climate, the Climate Scale was used. Sociodemographic data were explored through a survey. For the analysis, the consistency of the tests (> .70), normality of the data (> 0.05), descriptive statistics, mean differences (< 0.05) and, finally, the hierarchical regression were determined. The information obtained from this research contributes to decision makers based on the knowledge produced in the development of timely interventions that improve coexistence among Guatemalan adolescents and innovate with respect to resources that can enhance research.
